Several months ago, I put 13AM on pause because of a tablet issue. Then some life things happened and it took me longer than I'd have liked to look into it. Finally, I gave it some attention. I was worried there was something outright broken in the hardware, but it turned out to be one of these tech problems that just disappear under scrutiny... Which is fine by me, as it has not reappeared so far.

This means that work on the comic has resumed ! Expect its return as soon as I build up a decent buffer.

In related news, I've also started giving Krita a try. Even though I was already somewhat expecting it, it truly is amazing what a difference it makes to use software specifically designed with drawing in mind. Out of the box, it already lets me do things I thought were just beyond my tablet's ability (mainly because I didn't know how to set it up). I don't know my way around the application well enough yet to be in a position to recommend it, but it's looking promising. For the time being, however, the comic will be sticking to GIMP for consistency until I get the hang of Krita. In the mean time, please enjoy this sneak peek into... THE FUTURE?!
